Taste of place
The flavours, scents, and craft of this corner of the Mediterranean — selected from makers we know personally. Everything you need to bring the island home.

From the land
Every item in this collection comes from a maker we know personally. Small studios, family workshops, people who take genuine pride in what they produce. We've spent years building these relationships — visiting farms, sitting in kitchens, watching hands shape raw materials into something worth keeping.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pressed within hours of harvest at a family mill operating since 1923 in the Pafos hills. The Koroneiki olives yield an oil with remarkable pepperiness and notes of fresh grass — hallmarks of genuine cold extraction. At 500ml, this bottle will transform your home cooking for weeks. The producer's grandson still oversees every batch personally.

Honey & Jam Set
The honey comes from hives positioned in orange groves near Morphou — the bees' diet gives it citrus undertones rarely found elsewhere. Paired with seasonal preserves made by a retired schoolteacher in Lefkara, whose fig jam has won regional competitions for a decade running. Both jars feature hand-written labels and make excellent gifts for those who appreciate provenance.

Carob Syrup
Dark, treacly, and nothing like the health-food aisle version. This carob syrup is slow-cooked from pods harvested in the Akamas peninsula each autumn — sun-dried first, then stone-ground, then simmered for hours until it reaches the consistency of aged balsamic. Drizzle it over halloumi, stir it into yoghurt, or use it in baking. A Cypriot pantry staple with five thousand years of history.

The olive groves of western Cyprus have been cultivated for millennia. The trees here are ancient — some over five hundred years old — and the oil they produce carries a depth of flavour that commercial varieties simply cannot match. Cold-pressed within hours of harvest, it arrives at your table with the countryside still in it.
For the table
Cyprus has been making wine for over five thousand years — longer than almost anywhere else. The indigenous grapes produce wines with a character you won't find in any supermarket. Bramble fruit, warm spice, and the unmistakable minerality of volcanic soil.

Maratheftiko Reserve
From the Commandaria region — the world's oldest named wine appellation — comes this Maratheftiko red. The indigenous grape thrives in Cyprus's volcanic soils, producing wines with bramble fruit and subtle spice. This particular vintage spent fourteen months in French oak. Serve slightly below room temperature and let it breathe for twenty minutes before the first pour.

Commandaria Dessert Wine
The wine that Richard the Lionheart called the king of wines. Sun-dried Xynisteri and Mavro grapes, concentrated to an amber nectar with notes of dried fig, walnut, and caramel. This bottle comes from a producer whose family has made Commandaria for over two hundred years. A sip after dinner with dark chocolate is about as good as an evening gets.

Cheese Board Selection
Three cheeses that tell Cyprus's dairy story: aged Halloumi from a cooperative in the Troodos villages, creamy Anari fresh from the morning's production, and a sharp aged goat cheese from a small herd in Pafos. Accompanied by local wildflower honey, seasonal fruit preserves, and water crackers. Serves two generously — or one enthusiast.

For the senses
The scents and textures that define this corner of the Mediterranean — bottled, wrapped, and ready for your suitcase. These are the things guests ask about most: the candle in the lobby, the soap in the bathroom, the fragrance in the room. Now you can take them with you.

Room Fragrance
Developed exclusively for Lantana by a perfumer in Grasse, this room spray captures the hotel's essence: wild lavender from the Troodos foothills, eucalyptus from our gardens, and a base note of warm cedar. Two spritzes transform any space. Guests often ask to purchase a bottle for home — we now keep extra stock for exactly this reason.
€22.00

Beeswax Candle Set
Three hand-poured candles in natural amber tones, made from beeswax collected in the Lefkara hillsides. One in a small ceramic holder from our friends at Paphos Pottery, two freestanding. The warm, honey-sweet scent fills a room without overpowering it. Burns cleanly for over forty hours — long enough to outlast your stay and carry the memory home.
€28.00

Handmade Soap Set
Triple-milled in small batches by a soap maker who left banking in London for a quieter life in the Cypriot countryside. Three bars: lavender harvested from our own gardens, lemon verbena from her plot, and Damascus rose sourced from a cooperative in Bulgaria. Each lasts twice as long as commercial alternatives and leaves skin genuinely nourished.

A parting thought
The best souvenirs aren't the ones you buy at the airport. They're the ones that carry a story — a conversation with a farmer, the warmth of a workshop, the taste of something made with patience rather than haste. That's what this collection is really about.
